ARIZONA POOL DOGS, LLC is a valuable training program that almost every dog in Arizona should participate in! We simply train your dog to get out of your pool safely! We provide training to your dog to remain calm, to locate the stairs (no matter where your dog is in the pool), with positive reinforcement training.

Unfortunately many dogs drown in pools all over Arizona every year. Dogs drown when they panic, swim around continuously and exhaust themselves, or cling to the side of the pool and eventually tire out, and drown.

ARIZONA POOL DOGS, LLC also teaches your dog to swim laps and retrieve on command. This provides the necessary exercise needed in the summer months when it is just too hot to take a walk with your dog. Making swimming fun for you and your dog provides easy daily exercise, while also increasing the bond between you and your dog.

Your dog is never too old to learn! We have trained dogs up to 9 year old in our program, along with dogs that have hip dysplasia and the only form of exercise their joints can handle are aquatic exercises.

Whether your dog has a negative association to the pool or just simply has never been in your pool, we can train them.

ARIZONA POOL DOGS, LLC teaches your dog to be calm in the water and not panic. A calm dog can go to the side and find his way out. A dog that panics swims in circles or clings to the side until it is exhausted and drowns. Some dogs are natural born swimmers, but they still need to learn how to get out of the pool safely!
ARIZONA POOL DOGS, LLC teaches your dog to swim for exercise as well. Swimming is great for your dogs' joints! If you exercise your dog in the pool during the summer, it just may replace his walk!
