If you are looking for something for you and your dog to do together, this may just what you are looking for. Visiting people and children that are in hospitals, crisis shelters, schools, etc, with your dog is very rewarding and fun. We can also certify birds, cats, guinea pigs, minature horses, and llamas.
How to Prepare for a Delta Evaluation
- Read and understand the Delta Society Home Study Course Guide (do not just buy the book to get the forms from the back or have some one else make a copy that has the book). The book has valuable information and insight on what it is that makes a human and a pet a good Pet Partner Team.
- Talk to people who have gone through the evaluation
- Go with Pet Partner Teams that are currently visiting
